JOB Description

What is the opportunity?

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work to deliver services for use in Deposits applications. We are looking for experienced software engineers who are team players and diligent about the quality of their code and delivered service. The DevOps Engineer will have the freedom to innovate in software design, development processes and automation so that they can deliver the very best result for our business partners. In addition, you will design, develop, test and support their services so you’ll have the opportunity to be part of every stage of the process and take pride in delivering great new services with excellent reliability. You will be expected to take on significant personal responsibility for delivery. As well, you will be part of an exciting journey to change how we deliver our services to clients and how we integrate with business partners. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, test, deploy, support and evolve software to deliver Deposits solutions for core banking services
• Work with mainframe and distributed development teams
• Manage individual priorities, deadlines and deliverables
• Lead the design and development of code structures to promote reusability across many applications
• Continuously improve software engineering practices within the Deposits team
• Work with the operations team to take code to production and ensure excellent performance and reliability
• Automate routine tasks
  
  

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g. EE, physics or mathematics) or equivalent practical experience
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes and testing
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Python, Groovy
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems as a developer or system administrator
• Working knowledge of mainframe
  
  

Nice-to-have

• Working experience with algorithm design and optimization
• Working experience with micro-service/distributed systems 분산컴퓨팅
  
• Experience with SQL
