서류 준비 중에 다른 문서와는 다르게 반드시 포맷을 확인해야 하는 문서가 경력 증명서이다.
경력증명서에는 반드시 들어가야 하는 항목이 있기 때문에 반드시 이 글을 읽고 준비하는데 도움이 되길 바란다.

캐나다 이민준비기#7 : ITA 인비테이션 받고 난 후 준비하기 1 - 준비서류, 프로필 재작성, Express Ent
드디어 1월 21일에 인비테이션 (ITA)를 받았다. 그 이후 한 3일에 걸쳐 준비 할 서류와 필요한 것들을 리스트 화 하고 하나씩 정리하기 시작했다. 그 전에 익스프레스 엔트리 프로필 등록 방법에 대

1. CIC 에 나온 Requirement - Proof of work experience
Document requirements
- The personalized document checklist in applicants’ online account prompts the applicant with an upload field for each work experience declared.
- At the completeness check, the processing office determines only whether the required documents are included. The validity or fraudulence of the information is assessed only if and when the application is placed into processing.
The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:
a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
- should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
- should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and
이 부분에서 반드시 명시할 것은 만약 한 회사 내에서 일하는 직무나 타이틀이 바뀌었다면 반드시 기간을 나눠서 각각의 직무에 대한 Job duites와 Job Responsibilities를 써줘야 하는 것이다. 나의 경우 한 회사에서 워킹비자를 받은 이후로 약 3개월 간은 코업으로 일했었기 때문에 코업 타이틀 + 직무 + 코업 기간과 정규직 타이틀 + 직무 + 정규직 재직기간을 나누어서 Employment Letter에 기입하였다.
- if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).
If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).
그리고 캐나다 경력에는 T4와 세금신고를 한 후 받는 NOA를 Work History 부분 증명 문서에 같이 첨부하면 좋다.
May라고 써져있기 때문에 강제성이 있는 항목은 아니지만 첨부해서 나쁠 것이 없으니 첨부하도록 하자.
2. 꼭 들어가야 하는 항목
- company letterhead : 회사 로고
- the applicant’s name : 본인 이름
- the company’s contact information : address, telephone number and email address :회사 주소, 전화번호, 이메일 / 매니저 전화번호, 이메일 적음
- immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company's name, title and signature : 매니저의 이름, 직함, 싸인
- job title : 직무 이름
- job duties and responsibilities : 직무에 대한 설명 , 본인이 어떤 일을 했는지에 대한 설명
- job status, dates worked for the company : 일 시작 시점, 일 종료 시점 혹은 현재도 재직 중인지를 표시
- number of work hours per week : 주당 일한 시간
- annual salary plus benefit : 연봉과 추가 베네핏 (보너스 같은 거)

캐나다 경력 증명서
**노란색으로 마킹 한 부분과 [] 부분을 본인에 맞게 수정하면 된다고 생각하면 쉽다.
한국 경력 증명서
한국 경력 증명서도 "꼭 들어가야 하는 항목"이 다 들어가야 하고 반드시 전문 공증인에게 영어로 공증을 받아야 한다.
바로 영어문서로 발급을 받는 다면 아마 이민관이 한국 회사에 직접 전화를 해볼 가능성이 있다
(회사 내에 영어 가능자가 있다고 생각하기 때문에)
반드시 한국 회사에 필요한 내용을 빠뜨리지 않고 다 적어달라고 부탁하길 바란다.
4. NOC Job Code
구글에 NOC Code + 본인 직업명을 검색하면 직업과 관련된 정부 사이트가 나오고 아래 같이 Main Duties 부분을 자신의 Employment Letter의 Responsibilities와 비교해서 맞는 NOC Code를 선택하면 된다.

이민에 관련된 글은 항상 쓸 때마다 조심스럽다
나 역시도 혼자 익스프레스 엔트리를 준비하면서 많은 블로그를 참고했지만
일부 블로그 들은 자신의 이민 회사를 홍보하는 글이었고
일부는 부정확한 정보로 혼란을 야기하는 경우도 많았다.
최대한 객관적으로 이민국에서 제시하는 조건에 맞추어서 글을 쓰려고 노력했고 나 또한 그렇게 서류제출을 하였다.
